Flamebloc 1414
Multiple
Buckman Laboratories | Flame Retardant | Corrosion Inhibitor
Flamebloc 1414 is a highly intumescent form of graphite, and is a proven fire retardant in both water and solvent-based formulations. Unreactive until 180-200 C, Flamebloc 1414 expands rapidly and proportionally in response to temperatures, forming an insulating barrier against heat, continued ignition, and underlying substrate damage. Features: Environmentally friendly; Halogen free, carbon based chemistry; Creates a char barrier between flame and substrate; Excellent heat diffusion and thermal shielding.
