GENAMIN GLUCO 50

GENAMIN GLUCO 50 is a Sugar amine based neutralizing agent and compatibilizer for waterborne paints. Genamin Gluco 50 is a multifunctional neutralizing agent for waterborne paints used to adjust the pH-value from around 7 to 10 to create stable paint systems. In contrast to standard neutralizing agents such as caustic soda and ammonia, Genamin Gluco 50 improves storage and freeze-thaw stability as well as compatibility with pigments and flash-rust inhibition. AMP (2-amino-2-methylpropan-1-ol) can be replaced by Genamin Gluco 50 without larger reformulation work, especially as color shades are not shifted significantly. Genamin Gluco 50 has a renewable content of 75 % and is a VOC/SVOC-free additive without any hazard labeling and is a suitable ingredient for ecolabel certified paints.
