BLX-14014

BLX-14014 is a highly intumescent form of graphite, and is a proven fire retardant in both water and solvent-based formulations. Unreactive until 180-200C, BLX-14014 expands rapidly and proportionally in response to temperatures, forming an insulation barrier against heat, continued ignition, and underlying substrate damage. Halogen and heavy metal free, BLX-14014 is the product of choice when an application calls for a greener, environmentally friendly, and sustainable fire retardant.
