Bulab Flamebloc 440

Bulab Flamebloc 440 barium metaborate is a fire retardant and smoke suppressant for use in plastics, paints, textiles, and rubber compounds. Since it is borate based, Bulab Flamebloc 440 will provide char formation and subsequent smoke suppression. This fine particle size material is easily incorporated into a formulation with maximum dispersibility. Recommended for applications with stringent smoke requirements. The product performs best when used as a synergist with halogen-containing compounds. In many applications, Bulab Flamebloc 440 can be used as a partial replacement for antimony-based compounds.
