Arxada

Polyoxyethylene/ethoxylated sorbitan esters with high HLB's. They are a mixture of fatty acid partial esters of sorbitol and sorbitol anhydrides condensed with approximately 20 moles of ethylene oxide for each mole of sorbitol and its mono- and dianhydrides. These are commonly known as Polysorbates. They serve as excellent solubilizers for flavor oils, whipped toppings, ice creams, icings, fillings and chocolate, as well as emulsified shortenings.
