Additive TC 85

Additiv TC 85 is an organic polycarboxylic acid corrosion inhibitor designed for water-miscible and water-soluble metalworking fluids, including semi-synthetic and synthetic cutting and grinding fluids as well as biodegradable hydraulic fluids. It offers ash-free, low-foam, and excellent multi-metal corrosion protection, has very good compatibility with other inhibitors, and is available in a dust-free grade (TC 85 B) for improved handling and cleaner production environments. The typical usage level in final coolant/emulsion systems is in the range of ca. 0.25–1.5 wt%.
