TECHNICAL DIOXOLANE

Technical grade 1,3 Dioxolane has a 90% minimum specification for 1,3 Dioxolane and a maximum water and methanol content of 7% and 2%, respectively. This grade is generally chosen for industrial formulations that will contain water. Dioxolane (2.5 deg C flash point) is a cyclical version of Methylal. It is a powerful solvent with a high Kb value and full miscibility in water that is used in various cleaning, paint stripping, degreasing, and grafitti removal applications.
