AKCROSTAB CAZ-2020

Akcrostab™ CAZ-2020 is a revolutionary high-efficiency liquid calcium-zinc heat stabilizer for general-purpose flexible PVC applications. Akcrostab™ CAZ-2020 provides performance equivalent to most high-efficiency liquid barium-zinc based stabilizers.

Applications and Advantages

• Akcrostab™ CAZ-2020 is formulated to give excellent heat stability and color hold in a multitude of PVC processes where the absence of barium is desired. While formulated for the calendering, extrusion and molding markets, it has shown utility in all processes.
• Highly recommended for use in low to moderate filler levels and in general-purpose clear formulations. Static and dynamic color stability is equivalent to most current barium-zinc materials.
• Miscible with a variety of compounding ingredients, including epoxidized soybean oil.
• Akcrostab™ CAZ-2020 exhibits good permanence and plate-out resistance.
• Akcrostab™ CAZ-2020 is free of metallic stearates and Bisphenol A.
• Suggested usage level is 1.5 to 3.5 phr but individual requirements will dictate final levels.
