INTERSTAB CZL-720A

Interstab CZL-720A is an FDA grade liquid calcium zinc phosphite-chelator stabilizer designed primarily for use in flexible PVC food contact applications.

Applications and Advantages

• Under current U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations, only those materials listed in Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations may be used in the manufacture of articles intended for food contact. Interstab CZL-720A complies with parts 178.2010 and 177.1210.
• A viscous but pourable liquid, Interstab CZL-720A lends itself to applications where handling of paste or solid is normally a problem or undesirable.
• Excellent for extruded, blown PVC film where compatibility and clarity are required.
• Recommended for extruded FDA tubing where clarity and resistance to water blush is necessary.
• Exceptional as a stabilizer/activator for foamed PVC cap liners.
• Interstab CZL-720A is recommended for use with 5 – 10 parts of epoxidized linseed or soybean oil and a phosphite chelator such as Interstab CH-55.
• Suggested usage levels from 1 – 3 phr for all applications.
