Blanc Fixe F

BLANC FIXE F is a synthetic barium sulfate produced from highly purified solutions in a defined growth process. The product is resistant to acids and alkalis, insoluble in water and organic solvents. It is color neutral due to low refractive index (1,64 of BaSO4) and has extremely narrow particle size range for glossy specifications. The low specific surface area and low abrasiveness (due to low mohs hardness of ca. 3) make blanc fixe f easy to wet and disperse. the benefits of the product include: acting as spacers for tio2 and color pigments and providing stabilization against flocculation, it is possible to achieve higher solid contents in dispersions; light fastness and weather resistant; assisting gloss adjustment, rheology control and enhancing mechanical properties
