Evonik Oxeno, is a major producer of C4 chemicals and the VESTOPLAST® amorphous poly-alpha-olefins (APAO) product line offer a broad range of co- and terpolymers of ethene, propene and butene-1 as raw materials for various applications. Under variation of monomer composition, molecular weight and chemical modification optimum values are achieved for properties like hardness, melt viscosity, crystallinity and rate of crystallization. The production process allows us to offer both predominately amorphous, soft grades as well as harder, partially crystalline grades. VESTOPLAST® is designed to deliver a balanced performance with optimal adhesion and cohesion properties, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
