Huntsman PU Division Appoints Maroon Group as Midwest Distributor

The Maroon Group LLC Company has been appointed by the Huntsman Corporation, the Polyurethanes Division, to represent its Isocyanates, Prepolymers, and Polyols in their Midwest territory comprised of Ohio, Michigan, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, and Kentucky. This territory will align with the current representation, from Maine to Miami, presently supported by the D.B. Becker Company, a Maroon Group LLC Company. The appointment will commence on September 1, 2018.

Becker, a Maroon Group LLC company, has been appointed by Chromaflo Technologies to distribute and represent its colorants and chemical dispersions in an expanded 21-state territory comprised of the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and the Gulf Coast states. The appointment commences August 1, 2018.

D.B. Becker, exclusive distributor of Evonik's Coating Resins in the Northeastern U.S. region

D.B. Becker, a Maroon Group LLC company, has been appointed by Evonik Corporation as the exclusive distributor of Evonik’s Coating Resins in the Northeastern U.S. region. Effective June 4, 2018, D.B. Becker will distribute the DEGALAN® Acrylic Resins, DEGACRYL® Bead Polymers, and DYNAPOL® Copolyesters to customers in the coatings, adhesive, inks, and other diverse markets from Maine to Virginia.

Maroon Group Acquires J. Tech Sales

Maroon Group LLC announced today that it has acquired J. Tech Sales, a national distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients. J. Tech’s management team, led by Jeff Tannenbaum and Barry Tannenbaum, will remain in place and continue to actively manage the business as an operating vertical within Maroon Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
